ASUS Launch AloT Webinar Series
The AIoT Forward series starts 22 March 2021.
The Internet of Things (IoT) has become an essential component of the automation, machine vision and robotics industries. So much so, it was noted as one of the prominent tech trends to have emerged in recent years. But as technology tends to do, IoT is evolving into AIoT, which involves the combination of AI with the traditional uses of IoT. If you want to know your EOMs from your AIs, or if you just want to know what the future of the industry may look like, ASUS might be able to help.
ASUS’S AloT Forward webinar series is a virtual, five-day event featuring a full array of ASUS IoT solutions to promote understanding among the industry of the brand’s AI and IoT offerings. One webinar will air each day from March 22 to March 26.
In recent years, ASUS has actively expanded its IoT offerings and developed AI technology. ASUS say the webinar series will showcase the progress made in this endeavour, including the best AIoT solutions they have to offer, spanning topics like edge AI technology, smart retail, smart manufacturing and smart healthcare.

The first of these webinars will be a product introduction for new edge AI solutions, hosted in collaboration with Microsoft on March 22. It will premiere Azure Percept DK and Azure Percept Audio, which are two new edge AI platforms developed by ASUS and Microsoft. The final webinar in the series will take place on March 26 and will explore different applications of running AI at the edge — from prototype to production — using ASUS AI Accelerator Card and edge devices integrated with Coral Edge TPU™. A product lead from the Coral AI team at Google will join the webinar to give an in-depth introduction to the Coral platform.
Participants will have the chance to win a prize from ASUS IoT at each webinar if they attend the webinar for at least 20 minutes. Prizes include a VivoWatch, Mini PC PN62S, ROG Delta headset, Tinker Edge T and Tinker Edge R. The winners will be announced on the event website on March 29.
Although known as a top laptop provider, ASUS has a global workforce that includes more than 5,000 R&D professionals and aims to the “world’s most admired innovative leading technology enterprise”. The Taiwanese company won more than 11 awards every day in 2020 and ranks as one of Forbes’ World’s Best Regarded Companies and Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies.
